Official launch of our Seniors Community Grant Program

Project Description

This program, 10-week long (1-2 hours /week), is designed to entertain and educate seniors through traditional Chinese dance and music by bringing seniors together to pass on performing arts skills and cultural knowledge.

Upon the completion of the program, the participants are able to put on a little show for themselves and share with other seniors.

This project consists of 3 separate sessions and each session is 10-week long (1-2 hours per week) to teach seniors the traditional Chinese dance and music at 6 different locations in GTA areas. It aims at transferring seniors’ experience, values and skills for performing arts skills to their peers, and other elderly adults.
